This is tricky. Personally, I would not install Windows alongside of any Linux distribution. One update later, Windows would have taken over your boot loader, and of course not recoognize Linux anymore. And since there is no longer that recognitions of Linux (including Senitrus), won’t every boot up until you use your OS? install setup. If you properly setup Senitrus correctly, then your secondary drive is holding all of your personal files. It might not be accessible since it isn’t NTFS file format.
If you wish to have Windows, you should install Windows on its own computer. If you need to share files, consider network drives, or SD cards. You could also use the Senitrus Drive with an installation of the application on Windows. Hopefully, more computer manufacturer will offer support for at least SDXC file formats. If you insist one installing Windows with Senitrus OS, consider using your secondary SSF drive for your Windows installation. You can use the microSD Card for your personal files. You might still lose your Linux installation in the next update, but at least you wouldn’t have lost your personal files formatted as exFAT which can be read by both Linux, and Windows.
Another option will be to install Windows in a virtual machine?. This might not be ideal for everyone, but will work for most people that would need Windows on the computer. With it confined into a virtual machine, you would not have to worry about it destroying your Senitrus installation. You can also try to see if your Windows applications will work in the Senitrus emulator – therefore using the virtual machine as a last resort.
