Senitrus will sell performance servers running the Snapdragon X CPU. This will give you all of the capabilities you would need in an effective package. You would have more options when designing the server, and provide your Senitrus ID number. This will allow you to login into the servers, and get everything started. If you bought a network server, that should be the first server to setup since it will connect everything else in the network. All servers will have the same base configuration – therefore making things simpler. The standard features will be as follows:

- 4 2280 NVME? with 2 pairs in RAID-1
- 1U or 5U rackmount. 4 drives per U
- 2.5″ or 3.5″ drive capabilities
- Media Server sacrifice 2 bays for a Blu-Ray Writer
- 2×10GBPS ethernet ports on Motherboard
- Network Server – a 4 port LAN? Card
- 5 USB4 ports for expandability (4 rear, 1 front)
- SD Card Reader in front, microSD card
- Integrated power with options for redundancy
There will be 2 Snapdragon X CPUs giving it as much power as possible. Since there are 2 CPUs, the system will be able to do more in serving the clients (computers asking for resources). The processors are designed to work in computers, and while Qualcomm does not have a dedicated server CPU, the Snapdragon X will be the next best option. If this does not work out for any reason, then the Senitrus Server platforms will have to be made into x86, and run AMD CPUs instead.
There will be a minimum of 64GB of memory. Senitrus will only buy 32GB DIMMs for the memory chips. With that in mind, the system will have options for 64GB or 128GB. High performing servers such as media servers will benefit from 128GB of memory, but keep in mind that most servers will not have hundreds of people asking for resources. The only other server that I will see to warrant 128GB will be a LAMP server if you expect a lot of visitors at one time. Keep in mind that your upload is just as important as your download.
There will be 4 NVME slots. Two will be in RAID-1 to function as C:/, and the other 2 will function as D:/. If one drive was to fail, the administrator will receive an email that the server-name‘s NVME number has failed and to replace as quickly as possible to prevent data loss.
There are 2 sizes only. 1U for servers that don’t need a lot of storage, and 5U for servers that need a lot of storage. There are 4 drives per U, and media servers (in 5U only) will be able to sacrifice 2 bays for a slot loading Blu-Ray Writer. This is good if you have DVDs that you wish to import. Once imported into the media server, all of your videos will reside in the server. The same goes for any downloaded movies/shows. The nice thing is if the internet goes down, you would have access to your media server’s files.
There are 2 RJ45-10GBPS ports on the computer. For most servers, the 2 LAN connections will be all that is needed. For a network server, one can be used for LAN, and the other for WAN?. However, ideally, there will be an add-on card for 4 LAN, and 2 WAN. This will allow the server to connect to 2 different ISP?s. In this setup, all servers on LAN 4 will be DMZed to make it easier for the administrator.
There 5 USB ports. 4 are in the rear on the motherboard which will provide for keyboard, video, and mouse if you need those resources at the time, although servers are designed to be remotely, or LAN wide management by the administrator. The front USB port is ideal for installing the Senitrus config file. It could also be used for other thumb drives depending on the role of the server. For example, to load a lot of .mp3 files into the media server. All servers will still have a SD and microSD capabilities. As with all Senitrus Systems Computers, the SD is A:/, and microSD is B:/. B:/ will be reserved for quarantine files.
There is an integrated power solution, and support for a second power supply unit in case one fails, the other will operate without a hitch. This is ideal for continuously operated servers. In the event of a power failure, the administrator will be notified.
