A media server is a server that would host media. This could include photos, and music, but will usually hold videos such as family videos, movies, or television programs. The media server will take in all of the content it receives, and delegates it to folders, and hopefully more directories to make easier to find and index. Most families will likely not host each other’s music in the media server as the tastes likely varies too much, but if they did, a person can rate a song they absolutely hate with 0 stars, rather than unrated. 0 stars will simply mean not to include in play lists. This will allow each user to have their own playlist file, and configuration. This allows for seamless integration, and one could point their library to the server. The only disadvantage of that is if you are not in the LAN?, then you won’t have access to your music since it is living on a media server.
Media Server
Media Server will work in a format of a very graphical interface. Each Movie will have an IBMD database of the picture of the movie to make it easier to recognize. The same will go for the TV shows. Media Server can also work with Senitrus Media Store, to download to the media server as default. This will free up the computer’s drive, and make it easier for everyone to watch the video in a family. This can especially be good for the times that the internet service is down for whatever reason.
Music can also download to the media server therefore giving one united place for all of the music files. There will be a difference between Not Rated, and 0 stars. With 0 stars, the song will not show up in the playlist. During construction, there will be a manner to hopefully support importing Apple Music playlists, and smart playlist. The songs will be sorted by Music > Year > Artist > Album, and then the .mp3 of each somg in that album. This will allow it to be much easier to find, and sorted. Media Server will have Senitrus Audio Editor built in to normalize the volume of all of the songs by default so you don’t have quiet volume songs followed by loud volume songs.
